In this tutorial, I’m going to show you how to place screenshots on tech smart objects that are found in our stock photos in the shop. It’s super easy and you’ll need Photoshop to do it.
What are Smart Objects?
Smart Objects are layers that contain image data from raster or vector images, such as Photoshop or Illustrator files. Smart Objects preserve an image’s source content with all its original characteristics, enabling you to perform nondestructive editing to the layer. (from Adobe.com)
We’ve created smart objects in some of our stock photos that have tech items like iPads, iPhones and computers. By creating smart objects, we can give you an opportunity to have a more realistic looking mockup of your screens.
